1968 Camaro
Hand-Built Custom

This stunning hand-built 1968 Camaro is a true showpiece, featuring a world-class custom interior crafted by Richard at Swift Stitch Upholstery and a level of detail that rewards a closer look.

Wayne's Rods West was entrusted with one of the most challenging finishing touches on the entire build: custom fitting the windshield and rear deck lid glass. Each piece was carefully cut, shaped, and polished to create a perfectly uniform gap around the entire perimeter — then floated and positioned at a consistent depth so it follows the body lines flawlessly from every angle.

The true challenge lies in accomplishing this while completely concealing the windshield adhesive. No excess sealant is visible beyond the edge of the glass. Instead of a black adhesive border, your eye is drawn only to the precise gap and the breathtaking candy red finish surrounding it — as though the glass is suspended within the body opening, perfectly centered and floating effortlessly within the recess. It's a subtle detail that most people never notice, but it's exactly these details that separate a custom car from a show-winning custom car.
